How do I delete my account and all my data?
In the app: Settings → Delete account. The deletion runs immediately and removes your account, all cloud-synced games, photos, and voice memos. There's a two-step confirmation so you can't trigger it by accident; once it completes, the data cannot be recovered.

with the subject "Delete my account" and we'll do it for you within 30 days.
How do I export my journal?
In the app, go to Settings → Export your data. Choose JSON (full structure including media URIs) or CSV (one row per game, spreadsheet-friendly).
Can I use playback without signing in?
Yes. Everything works locally on the device. Sign-in only adds multi-device sync and family-share links. You can switch any time.
How does AI memory polish work?
When you tap Polish, your rough note (plus the game's basic context — kid name, sport, opponent, score) is sent through our secure Supabase Edge Function to OpenAI, which returns a warm, 2–4 sentence rewrite grounded in what you wrote. We never embellish or invent stats. OpenAI doesn't retain content sent via API beyond what's needed to deliver the response. While Playback is in beta, AI polish is free for all signed-in users; pricing details will be shared well before that changes.
What does Playback cost?
During the beta, all features — AI memory polish, voice capture, season recap, family share links, the year-end book — are free for everyone who signs in. We'll introduce optional paid tiers later and give all current users plenty of notice. Anything you've created stays yours regardless of plan.
How do family-share links work?
Each link is a 12+ character random token. The page is unindexed (search engines won't find it) but anyone with the link can view it. Revoke any link from inside the app.
I forgot to upgrade before my trial ended.
Your data is always safe — trial expiry never deletes anything. While Playback is in beta, all features are free, so there's nothing to upgrade. When paid tiers launch, we'll send notice; if you ever decide not to subscribe, your journal stays put and remains exportable from Settings.
